The main purpose of the present study is to develop a model of children's religious education (practical dimension or branches) based on Ibn Sīnā's educational thoughts. According to Ibn Sīnā, religious education is the manifestation of wisdom, mercy and great blessing of God. In other words, religious education is the cultivation of the spiritual dimension and the establishment of a relationship with God. The "purpose" of religious education is familiarity with the acts of worship. From Ibn Sīnā's view point, the ultimate goal of religious education is to achieve proximity to God. Religious education can be provided in marriage and environment. The principles of religious education include familiarity with the acts of worship and the principle of moderation. Regarding the methods, preparation, role modeling and familiarity with religious places are the issues that can be discussed. Ibn Sīnā believes that the content of religious education includes content of worship and familiarity with prayer and supplication. Based on what he believes, the factors of religious education include family, school and friends, and the obstacles consist of polytheism in worship and vile traits. In this way, the comprehensive model of religious education is developed
