Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to analyze the challenges (pathology) of religious education and its validation in the school system based on the views of teachers of religion.The research method is mixed .In the qualitative part of the research community, there were specialists in Islamic education, experts in Islamic education, and school principals. Each group was purposefully selected and their views were studied through semi-structured interviews. Data from the interview were analyzed using thematic analysis method Findings indicate that the challenges of students' religious education are the weakness of educational policy, inefficient educational atmosphere (moral and emotional) of the school, the weakness of educational programs such as: weaks goals( idealistic, inflexibility, unattainable), Inadequate content (mismatch with need, time, inactivity ), weakness of methods(explanatory and executive methods of programs) weakness of educators (in the areas of personality, professional knowledge, religious beliefs, knowledge and professional commitment) In order to validate the findings using the descriptive-survey method, the views of religious teachers and the life of the second secondary school in 5 provinces studied using a researcher-made questionnaire (designed based on qualitative findings). The results of one-sample t-test showed that most of the counted components were approved
