Abstract:
The present study, grounded in the Qur’anic bipolar anthropology and employing qualitative content analysis of Qur’anic verses (open, axial, and selective coding), seeks to extract concepts related to the negative faculties and traits of the human being. To ensure the reliability of the coding process and methodological rigor, Cohen’s Kappa coefficient was applied, yielding κ = 0.86, which indicates substantial reliability and methodological soundness of the analysis.
The central finding of the research is the identification of a causal chain linking negative psychic faculties and traits across five major domains: structural weakness, psychological instability, cognitive deviation, egocentrism, and behavioral disorder. Within this framework, the negative pole of human existence is interpreted not merely as an obstacle, but as a dynamic catalyst in the process of human transcendence.
The innovation of the study lies in presenting a novel theoretical framework and designing a three-stage, hierarchical educational model based on the principles of “immunization, ” “moderation, ” and “transformation, ” operationalized through interconnected educational methods. This stepwise progression shifts the educational approach from a logic of elimination and suppression toward constructive management and positive moral engineering, ultimately paving the way for cultivating an active and balanced human being on the path toward divine proximity.
