**Abstract**
The present article, titled "Epistemological Explanation of Children's Sexual Education Based on the Quran and Hadiths," examines the epistemological aspects of children's sexual education. In this study, the proposed strategies are analyzed in two categories—preventive and therapeutic—with a priority on preventive strategies. In the preventive section, the explanation of gender necessities is presented as a fundamental basis for sexual education. Appropriate training for educators and learners regarding gender issues, providing reasonable responses to children's gender-related questions, and avoiding inappropriate speech and behavior are identified as preventive strategies. In the therapeutic section, raising awareness and justifying learners regarding committed gender mistakes are explored. The study demonstrates that combining preventive and therapeutic strategies optimizes sexual education. Based on Quranic verses and hadiths, this article emphasizes the importance of sexual education as an integral part of children's overall upbringing and provides practical strategies to achieve this goal.
Ultimately, through a qualitative library-based method with a descriptive-analytical approach, this research seeks to answer the question: How can preventive and therapeutic epistemological explanations for the sexual education of children aged 7 to 12 be formulated based on the Quran and hadiths?
