Abstract:
The triad of politics, research, and the professional function are present in almost every field of human activity. The more the interaction among these three sides is present, the more developed would be the given field, and vice versa.
On the other hand, the research findings for eliminating the practical and actual difficulties would assist the practitioners in these fields. The three sides of the above mentioned triangle in the field of liberal arts – especially education and training – are not of enough strength. To increase the quantity and the quality of the interaction and relationship among these three sides of the triangle, it is necessary for the education system to focus on the research. We suggest the strategy of "development and expansion of research action" for realizing goal (a), i.e. producing knowledge, and two strategies of "expansion of research evaluation and meta-research" and "diffusion of research findings" for achieving goal (b), i.e. using knowledge. By "research action" we mean researches done by teachers and managers at lower levels aimed at solving actual problems related to the process of teaching-learning. Research evaluation means the evaluation of researches done in a specific field, and meta-research means interpretations, conclusions and findings related to researches pursuing an almost specific goal. As the result of research evaluation and meta-research, some data is gathered that should be summarized and organized and consequently be presented to those who can benefit from theses crucial findings
