Abstract:
In religious education, which is the most important aspect of education, the pupil’s knowledge, awareness, and emotions should have a positive direction and his/her emotions should be involved in his/her faith. The fulfillment faith [or becoming faithful] is one of the complex issues of philosophy, theology, and even psychology, especially when it comes to faith in God. Scholars have discussed the nature of knowledge and faith in the midst of their philosophical, theological, moral, exegetical and psychological discussions, and have pointed to the relationship between the two according to their inferences from religious texts. Allameh Misbah Yazdi’s systematic and coherent view is one of the relevant views in this regard which is worth investigating by researchers of humanities and religious knowledge. The educational explanation of the formation of faith in order to develop a model for religious education is an issue that seems to be absent [in present researches]. Therefore, the aim of the current research is to analyze Allameh Misbah's view on the nature of knowledge and faith and the their relationship, using the content analysis method, in order to provide an educational explanation of how to transform knowledge into faith from his viewpoint. According to the results of the analysis, rational acknowledgment must be synchronized with one of the natural tendencies of the soul in order to make it pleasant for the human soul and arise its enthusiasm and finally it should turn into heart acknowledgment and thus will lead to becoming faithful.
