abstract = {The present paper seeks to compare the mate-selection criteria favored by Kerman's youth and the criteria recommended by Islamic thought. To this end, the researcher extracted the criteria of a successful marriage recommended by sacred law from religious sources and recognized the mate-selection criteria adopted by the youth. Then he organized these criteria in a form of a questionnaire which he designed for the unmarried youth ranging from 18 to 35 years old in the province of Kerman to see what their first priorities in mate-selection are. The research findings showed that those who filled in the questionnaire chose from among the six main criteria of Islam's theoretical view only two, as first priorities that is, "chastity and continence" and" wisdom and intelligence". On the contrary, they chose "education level, economic status, and occupation" as first priorities. In other words, they ranked first most of the criteria which, according to religious doctrines, are ranked second and those which, according to religion, are ranked first came next. },

abstract_fa ={هدف این پژوهش بررسی معیارهای پذیرفته شده‌ی جوانان شهر کرمان برای همسرگزینی و تطبیق آن با معیارهای توصیه شده بر اساس آموزه های دینی است. بدین منظور، با مراجعه به آیات و روایات، معیارهای توصیه شده در شرع مقدّس برای یک ازدواج سالم و موفق استخراج گردید. از سوی دیگر، با شناسایی معیارهایی مورد قبول جوانان (دختر و پسر) در همسرگزینی، مجموعه‌ی این دو دسته معیار در قالب یک پرسش نامه گردآمده و در معرض نظرسنجی جوانان 18 تا 35 سال مجرّد شهر کرمان قرار داده شد، تا اولویت های همسرگزینی آنان شناسایی شود. نتایج به دست آمده نشان داد که پاسخ گویان از 6 معیار اصلی در دیدگاه نظری اسلام، تنها دو معیار آن یعنی «پاک دامنی» و «عقل و هوش» را در اولویت قرار می دهند. در حالی که جوانان غیر از این دو معیار، معیارهایی همچون «میزان تحصیلات، وضعیت اقتصادی و شغل» را در رتبه بندی خود در اولویت قرار داده اند. به عبارت دیگر، پاسخ گویان بیشتر معیارهایی را که از نظر آموزه های دینی در سطح دوم قرار دارند، به عنوان معیارهای سطح اول خود پذیرفته و معیارهای سطح اول را در آموزه های دینی در ردیف های بعدی قرار داده اند. همچنین در اولویت بندی معیارهای ازدواج، بین دختران و پسران، تفاوت معناداری مشاهده نمی شود، هرچند این هماهنگی در معیارهای دو جنس، با ملاک های دینی رابطه‌ی معناداری وجود ندارد.},
