abstract = {Children education about acts of worship is of special significance in educational system of Islam. Researches show that most of those who give little importance to worship and other religious obligations in adulthood do believe in religion and religious obligations, but such factors as parents' carelessness or inattention of doing religious obligations on time, youngsters' inexperience and lack of practice in performing acts of worship in childhood, and their unawareness of the philosophy and significance of religious acts of worship have an important role in this regard. So far, our educational system has not actually been able to create such readiness in the students to enable them overcome this problem. To solve the problem, it is necessary to make the youngsters familiar with religious obligations and acts of worship, and their philosophy and merits that can be suitable withpuberty age. Parents and teachers, as the main individuals in charge of children education, should prepare the grounds for children to learn and perform some religious acts.
The present paper investigates the necessity of religious education for children, the necessity of explaining the philosophy of religious obligations, and parents' responsibilities in this regard

abstract_fa ={تربیت عبادی کودکان اهمیت خاصی در نظام آموزشی و تربیتی اسلام دارد. تحقیقات نشان می دهد بسیاری از افرادی که در بزرگسالی نسبت به عبادات سستی از خود نشان می دهند، بی اعتقاد به دین و تکالیف دینی نیستند، بلکه عواملی چون بی توجهی و یا عدم تقید والدین نسبت به انجام به موقع تکالیف عبادی، عدم ورزیدگی کودکان در انجام عبادات در کودکی و ناآگاهی آنان از فلسفه و اهمیّت عبادات، در این زمینه نقش دارند. تاکنون نظام آموزشی ما عملاً نتوانسته است این آمادگی را در دانش  آموزان برای رفع این مشکل ایجاد کند. برای رفع این مشکل، ضروری است پیش از سن تکلیف، کودکان با اعمال و تکالیف عبادی، فلسفه و فواید اعمال عبادی متناسب با دوره کودکی آشنا شوند. والدین و مربیان به عنوان مسئولان اصلی تربیت، باید زمینه فراگیری و انجام برخی از مسائل دینی را برای کودکان فراهم نمایند.
این مقاله، به بررسی ضرورت تربیت عبادی کودکان، ضرورت بیان فلسفه اعمال عبادی و مسئولیت والدین در این زمینه پرداخته است.},
