abstract = {The purpose of this article is to investigate the role of the components of will in moral education (self-improvement and other-improvement) and their relationship, using a descriptive and analytical-inferential method and considering intra-religious sources. The emphasis of this article is on the opinions and thoughts of Allameh Misbah Yazdi. This research investigates the role of cognition, tendency, and power - as the elements and components of will – and their relationship; then explains the position of reason, nature, and revelation - as the means of guidance - in determining the criteria of choice and orientation of choice and will. It then mentions that one of the most important solutions and methods of strengthening the will is controlling instincts and doing good deeds; and investigates the mutual relationship between will and ethics in strengthening each other. Since the manifestation of human being’s will is a result of various genetic, environmental and educational factors, this article points out that only the ones who have a strong and firm will, called “determination”, may reach the highest moral levels through a well-organized program},

abstract_fa ={پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی نقش و ارتباط مؤلفه های اراده در تربیت اخلاقی (خودسازی و دگرسازی)  با روش توصیفی و تحلیلی ـ استنباطی و با استفاده از منابع درون دینی و تأکید بر آرا و اندیشه های علامه مصباح یزدی انجام  شده است. در این پژوهش نقش و ارتباط شناخت و گرایش و قدرت به عنوان عناصر و مؤلفه های تشکیل دهنده‌ی اراده بررسی گردید و جایگاه عقل، فطرت و وحی به عنوان ابزارهای هدایت در تعیین معیارهای انتخاب و جهت دهی انتخاب و اراده، توضیح داده شد. کنترل غرایز و انجام کار خیر به عنوان مهم ترین راهکارها و روش های تقویت اراده مطرح گردید و رابطه‌ی دوسویه‌ی اراده و اخلاق در تقویت یکدیگر بررسی شد. ازآنجاکه تبلور اراده در افراد انسانی به سبب عوامل مختلف وراثتی،  محیطی و تربیتی متفاوت است، اشاره شد که کسانی می توانند با یک برنامه‌ی منظم به بالاترین مراحل اخلاقی دست یابند که از اراده ای قوی و استوار، که از آن به «عزم» یاد می شود، بهره مند باشند.},
