abstract = {Considering the significant role of imitation and modeling in customary and religious life, this article has tried to examine Allameh Misbah Yazdi's views on beliefs, values and methods of achieving value-based goals and the role that imitation can play in this regard. To what extent and by what criteria can rational self-sufficiency or imitation of others in the field of beliefs and values be distinguished? The reason behind imitation, the model which is worthy of imitation, and the psychological motivation that usually leads us to imitate are some of the aspects that this article examines. Allameh Misbah Yazdi, a contemporary Shiite thinker, believes that imitation and modeling in the main aspects of religious life is not a sign of intellectual and cognitive immaturity, rather it is one of the necessities of organizing and facilitating the process of religious life. Aiming at preserving and strengthening of youth independence, many young people want to be independent of others in their religious life, but some angles and dimensions of the beliefs and values they choose for themselves in life cannot be affected by their cognitive and intellectual range. Professor Misbah discusses this challenge of religious life, and with regard to the dilemma of research and imitation, suggests a third interesting way. abstract_fa ={با توجه به نقش چشمگیر تقلید و الگوبرداری در زندگی عرفی و زندگی دینی، این نوشتار کوشیده است دیدگاه علامه مصباح یزدی را در باب باورها، ارزش ها و روش رسیدن به اهداف ارزشی و نقشی که تقلید می تواند در آن ایفا کند، بررسی نماید. خودکفایی عقلانی و یا الگوبرداری از دیگران در عرصه باورها و ارزش ها تا کجا و براساس کدام معیار قابل تفکیک است؟ چرایی تقلید، الگوی سزاوار تقلید و نیز انگیزه روان شناختی  که معمولاً ما را به الگوبرداری می کشاند، ازجمله جنبه هایی است که این نوشتار بررسی کرده است. علامه مصباح یزدی از متفکران معاصر شیعی بر این باور است که تقلید و الگوبرداری در جنبه های اصلی زندگی دینی نه تنها نشانه نارسیدگی عقلانی و  شناختی نیست، بلکه از ضرورت های سامان دهی و آسان سازی روند زندگی دینی است. بسیاری از جوانان با انگیزه حفظ و تقویت استقلال جوانی می خواهند در روند زندگی دینی خود به دیگران وابسته نباشند، اما از سوی دیگر گوشه ها و زوایایی از باورها و ارزش هایی که در زندگی برای خود برمی گزینند، نمی تواند در تیررس برد شناختی و عقلانی آنان قرار گیرد. استاد مصباح این چالش زندگی دینی را به بحث کشیده و بر سر دو راهی تحقیق و تقلید راه سومی را که جالب است، پیشنهاد می کند. به رغم آنکه این راه پیشنهادی، زندگی کنونی ما را به زندگی پیراسته حضرت محمد و جانشینان معصوم(ع) پیوند می زند، اما همچنان راه خودکفایی عقلانی و استقلال در خردورزی را بر ما گشوده می دارد.},
