abstract = {One of the most important words that has always been challenged by many writers in terms of lexical and conceptual is the word "education". Some believe that this word has been used in the sense of physical growth and others have used it in the sense of spiritual perfection. The "third group" does not consider the current concept of education in the education system to be correct. Using a descriptive-deskresearch method and providing a precise meaning of the word education, this paper seeks to examine the concept and usage of the word education in terms of lexical, interpretive, traditional, historical, Quranic and educational sciences to respond to the challenges and opposing views in this respect. The findings show that education is used in both physical and spiritual meanings and cannot be limited to the concept of physical one. It should also be notes that the current usage of this word in education system, which means physical growth and spiritual perfection, is correct and it is in accordance with its original meaning},

abstract_fa ={یکی از مهم ترین واژگانی که از لحاظ لغوی و مفهومی، همواره مورد چالش بسیاری از نویسندگان قرار گرفته، واژه «تربیت» است. برخی معتقدند که این واژه در مفهوم رشد جسمانی و برخی دیگر، آن را در معنای کمال نفسانی به کار برده اند. «گروه سوم» مفهوم کنونی تربیت را که در آموزش و پرورش به کار می رود صحیح نمی دانند. مسئله این پژوهش بررسی مفهومی و کاربردی این واژه از نظر لغوی، قرآنی و علوم تربیتی بوده و هدف از آن، به موازات ارائه مفهومی صحیح از واژه مورد نظر، پاسخگویی به چالش ها و نظرات مخالف آن می باشد. روش این پژوهش، توصیفی و کتابخانه ای مبتنی بر کاوش های لغوی، تفسیری، حدیثی، تاریخی و... است. یافته های این مقاله نشان می دهد که تربیت در دو معنای جسمانی و معنوی به کار رفته، منحصر کردن مفهوم آن در رشد جسمانی صحیح نیست. همچنین باید گفت: کاربرد کنونی این واژه در آموزش و پرورش، که به مفهوم رشد جسمانی و کمال معنوی است، کاملاً صحیح بوده و مطابق با مفهوم اولیه آن است.},
