The present paper seeks to examine the impact of parenting style on children's upbringing and its role in enjoining the good and forbidding the evil. In this regard, the parenting styles proposed by psychologists and Islam are explained and compared, and the impact of the most basic components of parenting, namely "love" and "care", are investigated. In the approach advocated in this study, the proper parenting styles in different stages of growth are suggested, although love is emphasized in all the stages. "Love" leads to children’s conformity and assimilation and the "responsible and loving" style facilitates the internalization of Islamic values. Typically, children who have faithful and committed parents and are trained in this way will automatically enjoin the good and forbid the evil in any social group they enter. از راه های زیربنایی برای گسترش امر به معروف و نهی از منکر، درونی کردن ارزش های دینی است که از آغاز کودکی و از درون خانواده تحقق می یابد. هدف این مقاله بررسی تأثیر سبک های فرزندپروری در تربیت کودکان و نقش آن در گسترش معروف و پیشگیری از منکر است. در این زمینه، سبک های فرزندپروری مطرح شده از سوی روان شناسان و اسلام تبیین و مقایسه شده و تأثیر اساسی ترین مؤلفه های فرزندپروری، یعنی «محبت» و «مراقبت» بررسی شده است. برخی از رهیافت های این پژوهش کاربرد سبک های فرزندپروری صحیح در مراحل رشد متفاوت است، هرچند بر محبت در تمام مراحل، تأکید فراوان شده است. «محبت»، همانندسازی و پیروی فرزندان را به دنبال دارد و «روش مسئولانه و محبت آمیز» موجب تسهیل درونی شدن ارزش های اسلامی می گردد. به طور معمول، کودکانی که والدین آنها مؤمن و متعهد باشند و با این روش تربیت شوند، با وارد شدن در هر گروه اجتماعی، خود به خود عامل به معروف و دوری کننده‌ی از منکر خواهند بود. https://eslampajoheshha.nashriyat.ir/sites/eslampajoheshha.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/5_8.pdf
