abstract = {Recognizing human soul and its nature in psychology in genral and in philosophical psychology in particular can be an appropriate source to indicate the objectives of education. Furthermore one can come to a thorough understanding of the nature of soul and define the objectives of soul cultivation by resting on Sadra`s philosophical psychology. The current study aims at analyzing the objectives of soul-cultivation on the basis of ultimate and intermediate perfection of Mulla Sadra`s theoretical reason and functional reason. The author uses a descriptive- analytic method to explain the philosophical propositions and realize educational implications. The findings show that considering soul`s ultimate perfection, the ultimate aim of soul cultivation is nearness to God. However based on the intermediate perfection of soul, the intermediate aims of soul cultivation are the perfection of theoretical reason and the perfection of functional reason. Each of these two intermediate aims is realized within its own context, which is,in the theoretical reason, reaching the habitual reason, actual reason and acquired reason and in the practical reason, reaching the effulgence reason, disembarkation, divesting and annihilation},

abstract_fa ={شناخت نفس انسان و ماهیت آن در روان شناسی به طور عام، و روان شناسی فلسفی به طور خاص می تواند منبعی مناسب برای استنتاج اهداف تعلیم و تربیت نفس به شمار  آید. در این میان، با روان شناسی فلسفی صدرایی می توان به شناخت کامل ماهیت نفس نایل آمد و اهداف تعلیم و تربیت نفس را استنتاج کرد. نوشتار پیش رو با هدف واکاوی اهداف تعلیم و تربیت نفس بر اساس کمال غایی و میانی عقل نظری و عقل عملی در اندیشه‌ی ملاصدرا نگاشته شده است. نگارنده در این مقاله، از روش پژوهش «توصیفی  ـ تحلیلی» در تبیین گزاره های فلسفی و استنتاج مدلولات تربیتی بهره جسته است. یافته های تحقیق حکایت از آن دارد که با توجه به کمال غایی نفس، هدف غایی تعلیم و تربیت نفس قرب الهی است. اما بر اساس کمال میانی نفس، اهداف میانی تربیت نفس کمال عقل نظری و کمال عقل عملی است. هر کدام از این دو هدف میانی نیز در بستر مراتب خود تحقق می یابد که در عقل نظری عبارت است از: دست یابی به مرتبه‌ی عقل بالملکه، بالفعل و مستفاد، و در عقل عملی عبارت است از: دست یابی به مرتبه‌ی تجلیه، تخلیه، تحلیه و فنا.},
