Abstract:
Motivation is a factor stimulating and directing a specific behavior and is a response to the question of "what is the basis of learning?" Psychologists consider "motivation" more important than intelligence. They consider "motivation" as a product of factors such as stimulants, internal needs, curiosity, excitement, and reasons applied by the individual for events and results (the theory of relativism). In this article, the basic factors affecting motivation such as culture, family, teacher, the learner's features, the class atmosphere and the educational variables have been mentioned, and consequently the principle of motivation in the Prophet's view and that of the Imams (pbut) have been dealt with. At the end, some methods for creating motivation in students have been mentioned.
